- Develop and implement plans for material procurement, storage, and distribution.
- Ensure that materials meet the company’s and industry standards for quality and safety.
- Coordinate and manage the storage of materials on the job site.
- Maintain material inventory records and track usage.
- Coordinate the transportation of materials to the job site.
- Monitor material usage to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in materials engineering, construction management, or a related field is typically required for this position.
- Previous experience in materials management in the construction industry is highly preferred.
