Equipment Engineer 

Job Descriptions:

  • Collaborate with project managers to determine equipment needs for upcoming projects.
  • Develop and implement plans for equipment design, development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Ensure that equipment meets the company’s and industry standards for safety, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Conduct performance tests and inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical support to project teams on the use and maintenance of equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for equipment.
  • Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Train and supervise employees on the proper use and care of equipment.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies in equipment design and maintenance.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is typically required for this position.
  • Previous experience in equipment design, development, and maintenance in the construction industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills are necessary.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment and materials is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software is preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments may be required.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations is essential.
