Equipment & Materials Supervisor

Job Descriptions:

• Collaborate with project managers to determine equipment and material needs for upcoming projects.
• Develop and implement plans for equipment and material procurement, delivery, and maintenance.
• Ensure equipment and materials are delivered to the job site on schedule and in good condition.
• Coordinate and manage the storage of equipment and materials on the job site.
• Maintain equipment and material inventory records and track usage.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for equipment and materials.
• Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Train and supervise employees on the proper use and care of equipment and materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is typically required for this position.
• Previous experience in equipment and material management in the construction industry is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and materials is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and computer software is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments may be required.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations is essential.
