Job Descriptions:
- Collaborate with project managers to determine equipment and material needs for upcoming projects.
- Develop and implement plans for equipment and material procurement, delivery, and maintenance.
- Ensure equipment and materials are delivered to the job site on schedule and in good condition.
- Coordinate and manage the storage of equipment and materials on the job site.
- Maintain equipment and material inventory records and track usage.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for equipment and materials.
- Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Train and supervise employees on the proper use and care of equipment and materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is typically required for this position.
- Previous experience in equipment and material management in the construction industry is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Knowledge of construction equipment and materials is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and computer software is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments may be required.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations is essential.
